Get ready to indulge in all things food news...

oh SNAP

Trump wants to kick 3.1 million people off of food stamps, and we're just wondering how he would feel if he was kicked out of McDonalds for life? The Trump administration is looking to impose rules on broad-based categorical eligibility (BBCE), which ultimately supports low-income working families that sometimes struggle to make ends meet. This "loophole" (what Trump calls BBCE) started to get a lot of attention when some millionaire applied for and received food stamps. And like, don't millionaires have anything better to do? Like go shove some caviar down your throat.

Remembering the time I threw up a hot dog during school lunch...

A school district in Pennsylvania sent out a harsh and unnecessary letter to families with children that had more than $10 of school lunch debt. The parents were threatened that their child would be put into foster care if the lunch money was not paid. Sounds worse than the lunch money stealing bully. The school district has since apologized and promised free breakfast and lunch to all children for the next five years.

Putting stretchy pants on before a big meal

Macy's is getting some back-lash over "fat shaming" plates they sold at one of their stores. The plate, created by Pourtions, a tableware company, featured three circles indicating too big, too small, or just right portion sizes. The "too big" circle was labeled "Mom Jeans;" the "too small" circle was labeled "Skinny Jeans;" and the "just right" circle was labeled "Favorite Jeans." Look at the plates here. So where's the "I only wear leggings so I can eat as much as I want" portion size? Asking for a friend.

It's like when Regina George ate those fat bars...

but different. Forever 21 sent Atkins bars with online orders that contained plus-sized items. Customers took to Twitter and went off, but Forever 21 and Atkins had weak apologies. Howbout like ForNEVER do that again, okay?

The most dramatic(hicken) season(ugget) yet

On this week of The Bachelorette: Men Tell All , Chris Harrison pulled an Oprah and gifted the audience members chicken nuggets. John Paul Jones, a fan-fav, took the hot-seat so we could reminisce on all of the great meme content he provided us this season. Known for chugging champaign and eating chicken nuggets in the mansion, JPJ threw nuggets into the live studio audience after Chris Harrison announced there would be nuggets for all in his honor. TBH we're all just looking for someone who looks at us the way JPJ looks at chicken nuggets.
