Donut beer is a thing
…and it’s making us drunk.

Donut drunk is the best kind of drunk.
PVDonuts, one of my favorite donut shops in Providence, teamed up with Long Live Beerworks, a microbrewery located in Providence, to create a donut beer! The can release was this past Saturday, and I bought as much of it as I could. What’s a better combo than donuts and beer (well, besides donuts and chicken)?

Such a fun can!
The Vanilla Wallaby is a vanilla and graham cracker stout that is inspired by PVDonuts’ famous Dunkaroo Donut, available every Thursday at PVDonuts. It’s delicious!

The Dunkaroooo!
This dark beer tasted more like an imperial stout, instead of the anticipated sweet stout. It did have a toffee-like, burnt taste to it, but unfortunately, this hid the vanilla and graham cracker flavors. It tasted like a generic stout that was a little weaker than a Guinness. They also had their Time Bomb (IPA- New England), The All Seeing Eye (American Double/Imperial IPA), and Attitude (IPA- American) on tap. My favorite was the double IPA.
I’ve had spiked donuts before, but have never been able to get drunk off of them. So, it was exciting to finally get schwasted with donuts!

In my element.
