Get ready to indulge in all things food news...

Drugs have never tasted so good

You've been hearing about CBD (cannabidiol) a lot lately, like how the TSA is allowing some forms of CBD to fly high. Now, the FDA is discussing the regulation of CBD in food and drinks. There are already CBD products available for you to consume (like soda, olive oil, chocolate, and everything in between), but they are not approved by the FDA (just like those protein powders you bros are drinking). Watch the hearing here.

Beefing with...

beef. Last week, more than 62,000 pounds of raw beef got recalled due to the possibility of being contaminated with E. coli. And there's a high possibility that you cooked-out for MDW, so check out the full list of recalled items here. Other items that have recently been recalled are flour from Aldi and Vienna Beef hot dogs. Looks like no one's safe...

Bone app the teeth!

Google Lens is rolling out a feature that will help you order food like a pro at restaurants. Just open the Google Lens camera and point it at a menu to get information about the most popular dishes, customer reviews, and insta worthy pics of the food. The phone eats first! Even better, Lens is synced with Google Translate to help you order that croissant in France, that pasta in Italy, or that taco in Mexico. So you're telling me that my 4 years of high-school French was useless?? Tell me something I don't know...

REOs? I thought you said Oreos!

We wish we were kidding when we say that the United States Secretary of Housing and Urban Development confused a common real estate term with a delicious cookie. When asked what a REO was at a House Financial Services Committee hearing, Ben Carson had the best response. We don't blame him tho, looks like he's got his priorities straight. For those of us who aren't the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development and don't need to know what an REO is, it stands for Real Estate Owned.

Pop(corn) Culture

Cheers to Post Malone and Kacey Musgraves

Let's do a SHOEY! Both Post Malone and Kacey Musgraves did a shoey while performing in Australia. What's a shoey you ask? It's when you chug a beer from someone's shoe. Yes, you read that right. Both Post and Kasey downed some alcohol from a fan's shoe that was thrown on stage. But it's fine cuz alcohol kills bacteria, right??

What's tomato with you?!

Rotten Tomatoes is trying to get rid of the rotten tomatoes on their site. The company has announced that they are now verifying reviews based on whether or not a user bought a ticket to see the movie. They hope that this will help curate authentic reviews and get rid of trolls. Be a ripe tomato in a world of rotten tomatoes.

Cluck off, Cam!

On this season of The Bachelorette, chicken nuggets have been one of the front-runners (behind Jed, of course). Remember last week when Cam interrupted Kevin and Hannah and brought them on an awkward nugget date in the middle of the mansion parking lot and then Kevin threw nuggets at Cam (well deserved BTW)?? Well this week, JohnPaulJonesJohnPaulJonesJohnPaulJones was all of us when he shoved his face with nuggets while avoiding all the drama. And remember, ABC- Always Be Chicken nuggets.

Fast Food Frenzy

In pizza we crust

Pizza Hut announces that they will be changing up their 40-year-old recipe. The Hut will be renovating their Original Pan Pizza with new cheese, different sauce, and a crispier crust. Their pizza can only get better!

New Coke, who dis?

Coca-Cola is coming to The Upside Down. Coca-Cola has teamed up with Stranger Things to re-introduce New Coke, a failed product of theirs from the 80s. Nostalgia is a good marketing tactic, but you might pick Pepsi over New Coke since no one liked it the first time around. Try it for yourself here and let us know what you think!
